Flavio Faganello. Incontri. Begegnungen – Gianni Zotta and Samira Mosca in conversation about analog photography, perspectives, and compositions

Photographer Gianni Zotta, a contemporary of Flavio Faganello, worked alongside him. In this talk, Gianni Zotta will discuss the working methods of photographers from the 1960s and the innovations that Flavio Faganello brought to photography at the time. He will also contextualize Faganello’s significance within regional photographic history.

Samira Mosca, a young photographer, will offer a contemporary perspective on the historical photographs of Flavio Faganello. She will focus in particular on aspects such as image composition and framing, and will also compare Faganello’s works with those of other well-known photographers.

The event Flavio Faganello. Incontri. Begegnungen at Foto Forum Bolzano takes place in conjunction with the exhibition Flavio Faganello – Photographs that Move, which runs until the end of October at the Mercantile Museum Bolzano, Silbergasse 6 / Lauben 39. Opening hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00.
