It is precisely the family archives in Super 8 format that help recover a story of love and resistance that would otherwise have been lost. A journey through photography, from iconic images to times and apertures, to framing and composition, we will gain a conscious gaze towards images through examples and exercises.
We will combine images and words and through a tri-dimensional collage we will create small rooms of wonder. Starting from tiny boxes we will mix poetry and image, past and present with ancient words and renewed images.
Cyanotype print brings images to life thanks to the light and ferric salts. By using flowers, leaves, feathers, and negatives we will create postcards, bookmarks that will become an herbarium of poetic blue memories.
