Saturday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at Foto Forum in Bolzano, as part of the exhibition “Torno indietro un attimo” by Antonio Rovaldi, curators Angelika Burstcher and Daniele Lupo, along with the artist and author Esther Kinsky, will present the book “Morgen. Torno indietro un attimo” which accompanies the exhibition, during a conversation about the geographies characterizing river contexts, particularly the Adige, the focus of the artist’s photographic research.
A film essay compiled exclusively from archival material, foregoing any commentary or context, on the destruction of German cities in World War II by the Allies, thereby implicitly raising the perennial question of whether it is morally justifiable to use the civilian population as a means in warfare.
South Tyrol Shines – Light Pollution becomes an increasingly major issue for people, animals, and the environment. As part of the exhibition Skyglow by Francesco del Conte on this topic, David Gruber (Director of the Natural History Museum) and Sabrina Bernhard (scientific staff member at the Planetarium) will discuss the current situation and their ongoing research project on light pollution in South Tyrol.
ANALOGICA is celebrating its thirteenth edition and returns to the spaces of Waag and FotoForum in Bolzano for a new event dedicated to experimental cinema and family film archives.
